STUDENT MUSIC SCHOLARSHIP FUND
Parade of Pianos
The Student Music Scholarship Fund was started by Paul Starks to address the performance and study expenses of High Desert music Students. These expenses include items such as text books, classroom materials, tuition, tuning and repairing of musical instruments and other related expenses.
The Parade of Pianos is an offshoot of the Student Music Scholarship Fund and was designed to assist students who have an aptitude for music, but are unable to afford an instrument. The instruments are donated by people who are no longer using them, and they get a second life from interested students.
