Victor Valley Legacy Museum
The Victor Valley Legacy Museum, located on the Old Route 66, now known as Seventh Street, opened in 2017 as a sister project to the Apple Valley Legacy Museum in the building that previously housed the Victorville Old Town Route 66 Historic Society. We are a part of the Santa Fe Trading Co. complex at 15492 7th St. Ste. A, between Forrest and A Streets.
Come check out our vintage displays, photos, scrapbooks, office machines, record player, typewriter, and displays celebrating old Victorville – the railroad, mining, western heritage, and of course Route 66. Also included are photos and mementos of many of the surrounding communities of the Victor Valley. Pick up a souvenir, a t-shirt, Route 66 cap, or a local history book.
Staffed by volunteers, we are open for visitors Monday through Saturday mid-day. In addition, we enjoy in participating in the Crafts Fairs held in May, September, October and December. You can also find us supporting the Victorville Veterans and Christmas Parades, and holding a Veterans reception yearly on November 11th.
