Love Your Best Life Foundation

Love Your Best Life Foundation is a community-rooted maternal and child health initiative dedicated to expanding equitable access to doula training and culturally responsive perinatal care in the High Desert and Inland Empire. Building on the proven success of Love Your Best Life LLC, which has trained and graduated 69 full-spectrum doulas through bilingual English and Spanish cohorts, the Foundation works in partnership with hospitals, community colleges, and public health programs to strengthen the local birth workforce.

The Foundation addresses the financial barriers that prevent aspiring doulas from completing training, obtaining credentials, and launching sustainable careers as Medi-Cal providers. Through scholarships, funded training support—including meals, facilitators, and facilities—and assistance with licensing and certification, the program removes obstacles to entry while increasing access to high-quality, culturally responsive care for pregnant and postpartum families.

Over the next two years, the Foundation aims to support more than 100 doula trainees and lay the groundwork for a future community birth and family resource center, helping to address persistent maternal health disparities across the region.
