Equestrian Council of Hesperia

This active citizen’s group was establish to promote and maintain the rural lifestyle of the city of Hesperia.  Their major projects include hiking and horse trails and the Hesperia Lake Equestrian Campground.  For more information or to make a donation, visit ECH.

AWAKHEN!

The Animal Welfare Advocacy & Kind (Humane) Education Network (AWAKHEN!) was established to promote the well-being of our animal friends through a variety of approaches.  Visit AWAKHEN!

Financial Literacy Academy (FLA)

The Financial Literacy Academy was founded in an effort to promote financial literacy for youth and young adults.  It is a cooperative effort between the banking industry, schools, and the community to provide programs and classes at no cost. For more information, visit FLA

R U Making a Difference

RU MAD (Making a Difference) was established to address a number of needs in the community.  Pilot projects include working with schools to establish community gardens and a larger objective of establishing a no/low cost community garden for seniors.   RU MAD also seeks to engage the youth in our community, particularly those between the ages of 12-20, through events such as music festivals.  To make a donation to RU MAD, please visit RU MAD.

MudJam

The MudJam experience is like no other!  This fund was established as a means of raising funds to support school band programs.  The MudJam is a 5K Mud Run and a music festival.  This year’s event will be held in Hesperia on October 20, 2012 and will benefit band programs in the Hesperia Unified School District.  You can learn more here:

Kid2Kid Closet

We are excited to announce our newest Affiliate Fund, Kid2Kid Closet.  This dynamic group has organized a children’s clothing exchange, now serving over 350 High Desert Families.  Learn more about them here: Kid2Kid Closet

The Apple Valley Schools Foundation Fund

Sustain-a-Kid Fund
